Smart lock and keypad installation
I install all types of smart locks and keypads across the Coachella Valley, mostly on homes. With a keypad, you give someone a code instead of a key.
What I install
My favorite is the Schlage Encode. I also install Kwikset. Most of the smart locks I put in are residential. I do the commercial ones too, just fewer of them.
Vacation rentals
Smart locks are popular here with Airbnb and VRBO hosts and with vacation rental managers. When the season starts, the rentals call me about lost keys. A keypad means your guests get a code and there's no key to lose.
It has to work on your door
A lock only works if the door does. If the bolt doesn't go in the hole properly, I adjust the door hardware so it does.
Staying with keys?
That's fine too. I rekey locks and install regular deadbolts and locks.
