Rekeying and lock changes
Rekeying changes a lock so the old keys stop working and a new key does. You keep the lock. I do it for homes and businesses across the Coachella Valley.
When people call me to rekey
You just bought a home. You don't know who still has a key. I rekey the house so the old keys stop working. Ask me about the new homeowner discount.
A tenant moved out. I rekey before the next tenant moves in.
An employee left. When someone leaves your business, or is let go, and still has a key, I rekey the locks.
Rekey it, or change it?
If you want to keep the lock you have, I rekey it. If you'd rather have new hardware, I install new locks and deadbolts too. Tell me what's on the door and I'll tell you honestly which one makes sense. I do fair work and I don't overcharge.
How long it takes
It depends on the job. A rekey can take 30 minutes or three hours. That's why I give you an exact time I'll arrive, and I keep it.
